New York fashion week part II
Hello everyone! I'm here for the second part of the fashion shows in New York. Of course you may have noticed that I'm not considering all of them, but only a few! If you have ideas or opinions, or shows that you particularly like that you want to suggest, tell me as well!
Ciao a tutti! Sono qui per la seconda parte delle sfilate di New York. Ovviamente avrete notato che non le sto esaminando tutte, ma solo alcune! Se avete idee o opinioni diverse, o sfilate che vi piacciono particolarmente che mi consigliate di pubblicare qui ditemi pure!
New York fashion week
Sorry for my absence! These have been busy days, but now I'm here to talk about (what a surprise) fashion!
I think you all know that NY fashion week is started and I just made a full immersion of parades to prepare a general framework of this first part!
Scusate la mia assenza! In questi giorni ho avuto molto da fare, ma ora sono qui per parlarvi (che novità) di moda!
Come credo tutti sappiate è in corso la settimana della moda a NY e ho appena fatto una full immersion di sfilate per prepararvi un quadro generale di questa prima parte!

the humanity?
i've been excited to see jones beach for the first time (as an adult) after i read that it's listed on the national register of historic places. but i can't say i wasn't a little afraid that it was going to be a bit too full and too spirited on the 4th of july.
and it was crowded, but not impossible to find spot for an umbrella and a big towel. and the beach soundtrack was right for the occasion--waves, wind, laughter and a little bit of whatever latin/r & b the new york masses are listening to now-- at a level that allowed for some good reading...but mostly, good napping.
the water was c-c-c-cold, but invigorating in brief forays.

this was really the only shot i tried to take of the architectural features. the water tower is under construction, people were lined up against the boardwalk railings...and mary and i had quite a but of stuff between us, including a cooler the size of my bathtub... i'll save the real picture-taking for the off-season.
