summer project: diy-dance

i love the idea of a summer project and i'm surrounded by women in my family who can make, in addition to beautiful jewelry pieces (like these earrings that my sister made for my birthday), moebiuses and mittens and mosaics. and they'll adorn these gifts with handmade bows:

so they inspire me to these crafty things--my sister and i have a t-shirt project in the works, which will be fun--but given any free time i usually think," i ought to read..."

welcome to my summer project (don't say i'm not ambitious).
it's sort of a selfish really-- learning this would make me feel good.
but i suppose i could perform it for some lucky, lucky soul (the "gift" of entertainment, yes?)
