Vogue contest link + party dress inspiration!
Tonight I want to help you! We all know that holidays are coming and so I want to give you some inspirations to find the perfect party dress!
We can always play it safe with black or gold, being careful to not exaggerate! However, we saw on the catwalks the advent of blue and violet and we can choose total blue or violet look, but we can also use these colors to complete a neutral look adding some details, which play always a very important role, you must remember it!

Vogue initiative + H&M preview
Hello world!
Today I’m going to share with you some interesting news.
First of all I want to show you the preview of H&M spring\summer 2011 collection! There are some beautiful items that I’d love to buy! Second I’d like to let you know about a wonderful initiative promoted by the Vogue director Franca Sozzani in collaboration with 10 Corso Como, which is turn to aspirant photographers!

i picked up the october issue of vogue today, because of the michelle williams cover story and layout. love her style, top to toe. and i love her new 'do.
i was happy to also find a photo spread featuring a favorite tennis player of mine, monfils, photographed by none other than arthur elgort.
i actually don't love this idea--why is monfils wearing tennis garb, when she's in couture? he'd look great in slim-cut frenchy 3-piece. but he photographs nicely.
i like anna wintour about as much as i like roger federer, but i will say that her friendship with federer does have its benefits. the monfils spread represents, i believe, the 4th feature/spread in 5 months to include a top tennis player. starting with rafa in june (photographed by bruce weber)...

this is a little too gatsby for my taste

and then in august, ana ivanovic! (bonus: article quotes mfw, and his is the big pull quote in the print edition.)

tsonga and wozniacki are bound to make it in there soon. here's hoping, anyway.

VOGUE - RECESSION HIT? Does it Again
VOGUE - Does it again. Recession is hitting companies badly, and we can see that even in the Fashion Industry. Escada shut its stores in India, Louis Vuitton shelved off its plan for a new store in Tokyo, Chanel reduces the prices of its bags and lays off staff, fashion companies are postponing their expansion plans and NOW FASHION MAGAZINES ARE REPEATING THEIR COVER PAGES.
After the February issue re-cycling (Jennifer Aniston Cover), VOGUE now re-used its US edition's (March) cover page for the latest print of Vogue India April issue featuring First Lady Michelle Obama in a pink dress.
