Men Fashion: colorful winter!

Well..as we all know fashion goes faster and men fashion week is almost ended here in Milan!
I'm absolutely surprised because despite what I told about fall/winter collections, designers have decided to use colors...colors....and colors!
Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Dolce&Gabbana, Jil Sander are only some examples!
Jackets, blazers, smoking and trousers has been painted..Orange, blue, red and mustard keep being on the catwalks. I noticed a very new curious detail: high waisted belt also for men! This accessory is used especially for coats, but it's so strange!
Anyway I want to tell you that, looking at the pictures of runways it seems to me as if there's no more differences between men and women! I find that some items and outfits are almost similar to the ones created for women...and even the mood of some fashion shows! Probably it's only an impression.
Let me know your thinking!

p.s. I fell in love with D&G collection, you have to run and look at the pictures because it's a feast for the eyes!

Golden Globes red carpet

Unfortunately I couldn't watch Golden Globe show last night, but I have to admit that I couldn't wait to know prizes and to see the looks on the red carpet. And now I'm here! (especially for the looks)
In one of my previous posts I spoke about the role of the colors in the next season..well it seems that predictions could be confirmed right now! Black and white dresses couldn't miss, they're always elegant, chic and suitable, but these colors have given way to green, orange and different shades of pink. January Jones has chosen red on red as someone else before and she looks beautiful, Olivia Wilde is studded with diamonds and she looks like a princess. The orange of Kyra Sedgwick's dress puts everyone in high spirits. Natalie Portman is just wonderful and lovely in her pale pink dress, although I don't particulary like that red rose. Angelina Jolie always knows how to leave us open-mouthed..I remaind enchanted by the shade of greed of her dress (and I still think that green is the color that she wears better!). Leighton Meester looks faboulous in this Burberry dress...and her Jimmy Choo shoes are to die for! I don't like Anne Hathaway dress but I admit that she's beautiful and fine in every dress (I'm jealous, I confess!). Nothing special about Jennipher Lopez dress and I don't like even her makeup, too much white! Christina Aguilera couldn't make a worst choice! That dress doesn't help her to hide her unfitting...but it's quite the opposite result!
It's curious Heidi Klum choice...but I extremely like the colors of that dress and I like that it doesn't seems so formal as usual! The Calvin Klein collection dress of Claire Danes doesn't "send" me anything..It makes her an adult woman because off its seriousness and simplicity...but I don't like it!
Michelle Williams choice is absolutely...horrible! This floral dress isn't appropriate for a red carpet and the color does not even stand her out.
Megan Fox is adorable in Giorgio Armani Privè because the pink of the dress matches perfectly with her black hair. Sandra Bullock made the right choice again..she looks like a goddess in Jenny Packham diamonds studded dress. And what about the lovely blue of Mandy Moore dress? I really like the color and the fitting but I don't particulary appreciate the shape. As for the black clothes I want to focus only on Jane Fonda who, despite his age, is able to wear this beautiful dress of George Hobeika with class. Are you satisfied? What do you think about?

clothes or paintings?

Read more to see the true colors of these four creations

In one of the recent post I told you it was wonderful to see the colors on the runaways and now I'm here to show you what I was talking about!
Autumn/ winter fashion and winter itself are dark and frozen and there're few designers who dare to color in this season, while spring/summer season bring freshness and happiness and the collections surely don't hide it! In this s/s 2011 color is everywhere, even the designers devoted to black and white have left their creations are colorful, almost like paintings! And we can definitely say, if you observe all the collections, that the leading color of the next season will be absolutely hot orange, but also shades of red and blue still persist on the catwalks.
Chanel, Gucci, Burberry, Prada, Vuitton, lovers of basic colors, offer a touch of color, remaining in their typical style...a feast for my eyes!
And I hope a feast for your eyes too :)
